Lessons in Life

*I'm drinking Darjeeling Tea*

I recall the book I read when I was in elementary school I think I was in 4Th or 5Th grade.

It's called the Dark is Rising. Funny it just came to me the title and I now learn they are turning it into a movie. Funny when I started reading The Rum Diaries, that too will be a movie. Every time I pick up a book it seems it will be turned into a movie.

So before I went to work I stopped by Millennium Park to see the Dalai Lama. I bet it was an amazing thing to witness but I didn't get to see or hear much. Then I figured out I went to work at the wrong time. I was supposed to be there at 12-4 but for some reason I thought 1-8:30. It was because that's what I worked last night. So I stayed from 1-5.

After that I stopped by the Chicago Cultural Museum because its free and its right down the street from work. I walked around and looked at as many things as possible. I came to an exhibit where you write a letter about your unexpressed emotions. It can be to anyone and you can seal it or leave it open.

I wrote a letter. On the front I addressed it to "My Own Unexpressed Emotions". I sealed it shut. It was a nice thing because there was a mat to sit on so it was like I was meditating. It felt nice to just get all of that out there.

I also entered Molly into this contest, where you get to spend the night at the Museum. There are two twin beds side by side and if you win you get to spend the night in one bed next to an artist. I think it sounds interesting enough. Kinda reminds me of the "Lock ins" we used to do in Girl Scouts. Where you would get locked in a school and sleep there overnight. You get to stay up all night and watch movies and play games etc. I remember chilling in the library that was the best part. They showed us how to make Tang etc. I learned a lot of interesting things and
I fell asleep watching a movie.

So then I get home and everyone else starts coming home and me, dave, mitchell were hanging out drinking gin and juice. We went to pick up Molly hours later and she is staying the night at our place cause dave and her both have court in the morning.
They got arrested for protesting, I would have too but I went home because I think the whole thing is retarded.

I finished reading A Piece of Cake, it was pretty good. I liked how they have critical thinking questions in the back of the book.

I'm looking for a second job because I am not getting any more than 20 hours on average and I need to move out asap. I started talking more to my co-workers and finding out about them. I really like my job.

It turns out I'm too old to read some of the stuff I've read in high school.

I need some sort of amazing thing to happen right about...... NOW!
