Since I live here now, Chicago is like home so its upsetting to hear this.
One Dead, Four Wounded Following Shooting on CTA Bus
CHICAGO - A teenage boy was killed and four girls were wounded when a gunman opened fire on a Chicago Transit Authority bus today on the city's South Side (near 103rd and Lowe).
Hospital spokeswoman Deb Song says 16-year-old Blair Holt died at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. He was taken there after the shooting.
The four female victims were all listed in fair condition.
Police spokesman John Mirabelli says all the victims were teenagers.
Police say a lone, armed offender boarded the bus and fired multiple shots. The male suspect then exited the bus and ran away from the scene.
No suspects were in custody.

Courtesty of KTTC
My Friend actually called me this morning to see if I was alive. I live by 21st so I'm South but not THAT SOUTH. It is a very segregated city and there are a lot of gang related deaths. But they usually don't bother people who aren't in gangs.
