Field Trip

He complained that I never go grocery shopping so we took a little field trip to Trader Joes.
This is what I bought:

Organic Romaine Lettuce
Sprouted Rye Bread (the cashier told me it was the best bread) Dave picked it out actually
Kashi Go Lean Cereal
Fettuccine Pasta
Fusilli Pasta
Bowtie Pasta
1% Milk
Organic Whole Carrots
Extra Firm Tofu x2
Organic Vanilla Yogurt
Omega-3 Odorless Vitamins (yup this was just for me)
Package of Hodgepodge Vegetables
LENTIL BIRYANI RICE x 2 (this is sooooo good)
Tofurky Sausages Italian (also amazing Dave had never eaten them before tonight)
Sauvignon Blanc
Frozen Asparagus
Tea & Lemonade

Then I cooked Tofu with Soy Sauce and Garlic, Stir-fry vegetables and then browned the Tofurkey and the yogurt was for dessert :)
Usually he cooks cause he likes to. So he really appreciates when I do it cause I won't.

So guess what yet another guy is moving into our house! Okay that now makes 6 boys to me, myself and I, the only girl. Why can't my roommate ever find a girl, they are moving into our old room and I guess I couldn't really see a girl living there anyway. Molly's room was way cooler and Mike has it, but our room is actually the second best after Tony's of course.

My roommates are Tony, Jeff, Mike, Louis, Dave and then this new guy who is moving in soon.
Jeff is actually pretty cool and Mike reminds me of my ex and the other two are okay.
When I say he does remind me of my last one in Boston, cause he has the same tattoo, he's this dirty punk kinda kid, works at a record label and is the same zodiac sign. Everyone is at least 30 except us, Tony and Louis are 35, Jeff is 39 and Mike is 30. I hope this guy is a reasonable age, all we know is he is from New York.

Anyway I had a hard day at the library, I've been into slides the past few days. I have an interview on Friday for a photographer job. I also have the Tigi/Bedhead Hair Modeling thing to go to. If I get that then I will be busy all weekend.

Hail Hurts and The Winner is............

We had to clean at the SINS Center last night. But first we went to Barnes and Nobles and then ate at Chilli's. Of course this sucked cause we were in the 'burbs so they didn't have a good selection. They made us vegetarian dishes that were mediocre in quality and bland in taste.

We cleaned and then drove back home and it was the absolute worst driving conditions. We got hit in the face with hail seriously trying to signal to switch lanes.

Anyway we got home and then our old roommate Molly was dropped off at our place. We walked 3 blocks to this party, Rice and Beats (Communist Party). So we got there late, paid the cover and I was bored for awhile, but it was better than being at home. Hip-hop is ridiculous, I suppose the people on stage were good for what they did; but I simply wasn't interested at all. The high point came when Molly and I were both by ourselves; both staring into space and we came together. It's funny because we are both Sagittarius we seriously are so alike. So while Dave was talking to this guy about politics etc, I showed Molly some dance moves. They finally started playing decent House music but there were seriously like 20 people there so it blew.
I showed Molly how my old roommates in Boston used to dance, and how you dance to industrial and how people who try to dance to goth music dance and then silly electronic dancing just to kill time. Finally they were done talking, um so I guess we went home and that was it.

Sunday Night:

Last night was Molly's Oscar Parties so I decided to dress the part. I was part Oscar/Part Movie Star.

Note to self: The Departed was a good movie, says Oscar.
I took gold eyeshadow and did my face and then I wore these fake designer glasses occasionally. That gold thing I'm wearing is a piece from Halloween in Toronto that we found in the street trash it was on this fake electric chair and it's awesome so I've used it different ways into costumes/outfits. The thing on my head is you guessed part of pantyhose and it was to give the illusion that I'm bald. I did this outfit in under a half hour because it was too crummy to go to the store and buy latex body paint.

Molly's coworker showed up to the party as an obnoxious drunkard. He was so unpleasant to be around that Dave dropped him home and we came back and hung out at our place with Molly.

We still have leftovers from the TUB of shitty whisky we bought and some beer we can have an impromptu party tonight maybe. :)

I'm finally watching

Glass and the Machines of God

all 3 known episodes because I've never watched it. I'm really happy that The Pumpkins are back together and will be playing together soon. I just wish spring would hurry up.
